Play for Real Money Using your Card


MasterCard are credit, debit and pre-paid cards issued worldwide by financial institutions that can be used to make deposits online.

At this time, it is not possible to deposit with JCB, Discover, Diners Club or American Express cards. Card transactions are identified on your card statement as ‘Resorts*Stars’

How can I deposit at PokerStars using my card?

The deposit process is fully integrated via the PokerStars cashier screen. When you click on "Cashier" and then on "Make a Deposit", you will see an option to use Visa or MasterCard. Click on the relevant button and enter the card information and the amount you wish to deposit.

For added security, a Card Verification Number (CVN) is required.  The CVN is a 3-digit number located on the back of the card, above the signature.

When you click ‘Submit’, your request will be sent for processing, and once approved you will receive confirmation in a few seconds.

Can I make ‘Fast Deposit’ purchases using my card?

The ‘Fast Deposit’ feature is available for card deposits. ‘Fast Deposit’ is a quick and convenient way to fund your PokerStars account using your preferred payment method. Once setup, you will see the ‘Fast Deposit’ button when playing in cash games, allowing you to review and submit transactions directly from the table.

What about my cashouts?

Currently it is not possible to cashout your funds through MasterCard.

What will it cost me to use cards at PokerStars?

PokerStars does not charge any fees for using cards. Players are responsible for any fees charged by their card issuer. Please note that if your card is not denominated in US dollars, your card issuer may impose a transaction fee or foreign currency margin.
